Harshad & Ketki (14th September 2009)




When I first saw the cover page photo of Ketki on Shaadi.com, I was captivated by her smile and immediately sent her an interest. I remember I was busy at that time in Mumbai and obviously had forgotten about it. Since I had shifted base from Chennai, I had not updated my phone number. One fine evening, I just happened to update my new phone number and I got a call from Ketki's father the very next day! They also had been waiting for this for a long time. I went back home to Pune the next day and saw her profile again with my mother. We were very happy to receive the confirmation. Incidentally, Ketki and her parents were coming to Pune from Nagpur the very next week. We had already chatted on phone several times till then. The next Saturday only sealed the matrimony! It was love at first sight when we met each other, and the rest they say is history! Our engagement was fixed after 2 weeks, since I was to travelling abroad for my studies! Well, we went to Nagpur the next week to fix the wedding date which is the Christmas day.
