Raj & Divya (5th September 2009)



You will not believe it but my husband and I have grown up in the same neighbourhood and have spent a greater part of our childhood just a hop, skip and jump away from each other. We never however imagined that we would end up as happily married as we are today.
It took us so many years during which i travelled to the UK and he to Canada and it was then through your website that we found each other.
At all our parties - engagement, wedding and reception parties this story of how we met has been narrated and now there are a lot of our friends who are also trying their luck through Shaadi.com!!!
What makes this more dearer to the two of us was that we both come from similar backgrounds - both our moms are Catholic and our dads are Hindus. Also I have had the best of both worlds growing up and would often wonder if I would be forced to sacrifice one part of it when I got married. But after meeting my husband through your website - where I had the ability to search for profiles that exactly matched the criteria I wanted - I realised that all my dreams came true.
