Vinod & Rani (5th September 2009)



I contacted Vinod, I week after I paid for a full membership. I don't usually have the shaadi messenger on, as I found that usually people I really don't want to talk to end up wanting to talk to me. But I don't know how it came to be turned on that day ( my computer does not allow any pop-ups) somehow Vinod contacted me thu the messenger.

He had just come back from his annual vacation to visit his parents in Singapore and happened to be online. His membership had expired, but he had just promised his father he would try and meet someone, so he renewed his membership so that he could contact me....and that was it....4hrs later we decided to speak on the phone the next day....which then became everyday....1 month later he flew out to see me...then we would each take turns flying out every other week to see each other...we collected ALOT of frequent flier miles....

His parents came to meet my family and I, 11 months after we met and we got engaged December 13th 2008 and were just married August 15th 2009....and so our story continues...

Thank you Shaadi for bringing my search to an end and beginning my new life...
