Kumar & Deepshikha (16th April 2009)


People in India say marriages are made in heaven by God Almighty and solemnized on earth by our parents. For us" it seems like Rab ne bana di jodi".
A small gesture of Hello in a common friend's marriage, Shaadi.com website, phone call, we were in front of each other. It was Cafe House at CP were which we first exchanged glances. Two cups of Coffee,few fingers of Chicken tikka and some soul searching chit chats were enough for both of us to nod in agreement with our parents.
Well !! It can't be called as Love at first sight but there was mutual admiration, respect and a strange feeling singing Dhere Dhere se meri jindgi mein aana...

Had it not been Shaadi.com, we wouldn't be able to search Deepshikha's profile from anywhere. All I remembered was her smile and hello in a lovely sweet voice.We matched the snap on shaadi website to that which was encrypted all over my heart and phew...it was same. Deepa's daddy, had already sent his interest in me along with his contact details and phone number. So, it was possible for my parents to contact them.
On our second meeting,I formally proposed her which she gladly accepted.That moment it seemed nothing matter to me any more..Was that " Love was in air".
Our engagement in 1st week of november was a small function with all the family and few friends.Then, with new dreams,new hopes,new aspirations and a desire to achieve new horizons,we steeped into a new beginning of wedded life just few days after Valentines' Day.

We as a couple would like to thank Shaadi.com for bringing us close.
