In July 2003, I,Hearing Impaired Handicapped, registered myself with your Shaadi.com at recommendations of my friend. Before this , I and my family searched very hard for a good handicapped boy for past 8 years. My family had received proposals through my deaf associations,newspapers, friends,etc but it did not work out due to some background & different handicap reasons. My family had tried to get proposals from abroad but it was found out that boys and their families did not reply to our enquires nor sent a piece of simple information. Some of boys were overaged to me by more than 10 years which was not acceptable by Indian standards. It led to frustation and disappointment to my family and me.
However, in Shaadi.com, we found a profile of Ranjan, a Hearing Impaired boy of Nagpur in Oct 2003 and sent my profile to him. Later in Dec 2003, his family and he replied. Discussions and telephonic talks were held with them and families of mine and Ranjan agreed to our proposals.
You will be happy to know that Ranjan and I got engaged on 4th April 2004 and we will marry in Oct/Nov 2004.
Ranjan and I have expressed our great thanks to you and your staff of shaadi.com for finding good partner.I wonder that without shaadi.com, it would be extremely difficult to find a good boy and I would be a unmarried woman through my life. It will make my life unhappy and worried as I have old parents and one brother who is working outstations with no time. Now Ranjan and I feel like best friends beside a Hearing Impaired couple.
