It has always be said that one should try to make their search criteria as flexible as possible in order to generate the most matches..well...I did the exact opposite! I placed everything I wanted in the profile search and ended up with 1 profile! The picture was a really nice one and it didn't look like this American was interested in any Canadians.
Needless to say, it didn't look very promising but I wrote a small note anyway. Surprisingly, he wrote back and that started out emailing dating. After a couple weeks, we graduated to telephone dating and then finally the BIG MEETING 2 months later. We met in NYC and ended up spending the whole day together - instant attraction! We got engaged about a month later and have now recently tied the knot in April.
To this day, Kush doesn't know what was in my first email that made him decide to write back to me but we're not omplaining. I guess sometimes even fate needs a little help from Shaadi.com! Thank you, Shaadi.com for helping me find my love.
