Hello Shaadi team,
We would like to share our romantic story which started from the shaadi matrimonial website late last year.
Manju:
It all began on 6th Oct '05; thats when Magda (user name: tiki24) accepted my invitation to communicate through shaadi. Since I live in Calgary, Canada and Magda lives close to Warsaw, Poland, it was challenging for both of us to keep in touch on a regular basis. Moreover, work was keeping me busy during the last few months of the year. Moreover, we both were getting invitations from different profiles in Shaadi. For me, since the day one, Magda brought so much curiosity in my mind. I was eager to know more about her expectations, family and interests.. Though we didn't get to know much about each other during the first couple of weeks, by early November we were in constant touch with each other over the phone and messenger for hours.. ! By late November, we realized that we have known each other so well that its time to meet in-person. In mid December 2005, I was planning for a trip to India to meet my mom and family. I decided to sidetrack from my actual schedule to include Poland as well. While I was in India, all my thoughts were about meeting Magda. On 4th Jan 2006, I landed in Warsaw airport and she was there waiting for me. Surprisingly, we didn't have a single moment of reluctance or confusion. We felt like we knew each other for ages. Then we went to her home-town and she introduced me to her family and friends. Though I was there in Poland just for a few days, one thing was sure for both of us; We are in LOVE..
Magda:
For me, I felt like we were two lonely souls trying to find happiness through the shaadi.com portal. I believe it was my destiny to be with Manju. People say:"Never stop dreaming". Though I stopped dreaming for a while, he helped me to stay happy again and belive in love. He showed me that dreams could only come true if you really wanted it. He has all the qualities I expected about my life-partner. In the very first meeting itself, I found him as someone with whom I could open-up and converse without any hesitation. We had open talks about dreams, future, family, childhood and ofcourse, expectations. I feel that I'm quite lucky to have have him as my future life-partner. Now that we've decided to share our dreams, we feel that we are made for each other. We belive this plan was made in heaven and Manju is God's gift to me.
We got engaged very recently and intend to get married this summer. We would like to thank the whole shaadi team for giving us this chance to find each other.
