We met at Shaadi.com on 12th August 2005 "Sonia" contacted me on that day. Initially, I (Raj) declined the proposal; but at the same time there was something; which was coaxing me to accept the proposal. It was 2.30 am in the morning when I went back to my office and accepted her proposal. We talked on chat for the first time on 15th August 2005. After 1 or 2 conversations on chat; I had made up my mind that she is the one I am looking for; but she was of the opinion that we should meet at least once before coming to any decision as I am working abroad. I too agreed; but I was determined to marry her. Since that day onwards we started talking on chat daily for hours and hours which helped us to know each other more better and also it helped "Sonia" to come to a decision that she was also looking for someone like me.
Now, was the time after 2 months of talking on chat to tell the families about our decision. Initially there were apprehensions from both the sides but we could make them understand.
Finally, I came back to India on 12th of November 2005 and met "Sonia" and we both realized that we were correct in taking the decisions and we got married on 2nd of December 2005.
