We, Sandeep and Vandna, are grateful to shaadi.com for bringing us together for a lifetime. I stayed on Shaadi.com for some time during which I encountered a few interesting and some real scary people, but it was worth a wait.
Just to run through the chronology of our courtship...after exchanging a couple of emails in April, we didn't waste much time in deciding a place to meet. Being in the same city surely helped us. In the very first meeting, I found Vandna as someone with whom i could open up and could converse with. I even confided in her some of my teenage stories - how I surreptitiously exchanged my slippers with a pair of nice ones at a temple on the day of Janamshtmi, which, believe it or not, resonated with her. :) Anyway, Vandna and I went through the 'intense dating' period of almost 4 months. We believe that it was and has been a wonderful and great experience that only led us to find completeness in each other. I proposed to Vandna in July 2005, which she gladly accepted and she was perhaps relieved as I was keeping it too close to my vest . As we spend more time with each other, our love has grown tremendously. We acknowledge the important role shaadi.com played in introducing us and eventually bringing us closer.
