It was simply miraculous...in fact Amit and I were destined to be together, and it was Shaadi.com which catalyzed this miracle. While creating my profile, I wasn't even sure whether I would find a match on this site, forget about writing this success story!!
Actually, even before Shaadi.com, one of my uncles told my parents about this very good looking guy, who worked as a banker and comes form a very good family. That time the talks remained only at the parental level. Both of us were perhaps scared of some things and made silly excuses. Amit and I had not even met each other and did not know anything about each other at that time.
Anyhow, days passed by, and as luck would have it, I decided to finally upload my pictures on Shaadi.com. On Sep. 23, 2004, I uploaded two pics of mine on Sep. 24th, Amit's parents responded, Sep. 26th, we met and went for the most beautiful drive of our life. After this meeting, finally, on Sep. 30, 2004, both of us decided to tie the knotwe went back home and told our parents to go ahead with everything. It was just so very quick that both of us were ourselves surprised.
Two people who were not even willing to meet each other initially, finally decided to marry each other. All because of Shaadi.com, if we hadn't seen each other's profile, we would never have decided to meet and things would never have gone this far. Actually, later on it was revealed that it was not his parents, but it was Amit himself who had responded after seeing my profile! Had it not been for Shaadi.com, we wouldn't have known what we were missingand once we saw what was it that we would have missed, we just didn't wait anymore and simply went ahead to grab it Just hope that Shaadi.com goes on giving people what they have missed all their lives and it goes on fulfilling people's hopes forever
