Lokesh & Shraddha (13th July 2005)
Dear Shaadi,
Thanks a million !!
Shraddha and I found each other on Shaadi.com in February and now we are a happily married couple.
The experience (as many Shaadi clients would agree) was wonderful and the service provided was commendable.
We tied the knot on 24th June, 2005 at JW Mariott, Mumbai and the entire process of knowing each other, sorting out the formalities and arranging for the wedding was truly a lifetime experience.
It was Shraddha's family who approached me for their daughter and i was glad to be accepted as a potential match. Since i was based in Kenya, i requested my family to start the initial discussions with Shraddha's family (Shraddha was based in Andheri, Mumbai). I was prepared to marry someone, whom my family approved and therefore i was thrilled when i got a call from my sister giving the green signal to start the communication. Shraddha was keen on knowing me, talking to me and meeting me in person before she could say 'I DO' and so i flew down to India on 11th June.
Since we both could not wait to meet each other [it was difficult after 3 months of chatting and talking over the phone... :)] a meeting was arranged at Shraddha's place where we saw each other for the first time and as you say it was love at first sight.
Next day (12th June) we got engaged and an expedited marriage was fixed for 24th of June (the day being an auspicious mahurat for wedding). We both enjoyed shopping and making arrangements together for the wedding. We hardly felt that we met only 2 weeks and even our families got along well after the 'panditji' had cleared the way for the wedding.
Fortunately, we both found a lot in common between us and our families which strengthened the bond further.
We would sincerely like to thank shaadi.com for providing us with an opportunity to find our soulmate for life.
Regards,
Lokesh & Shraddha
Shaadi.com team congratulates Lokesh & Shraddha! We wish you both a happy future.
