I met Zaufishan on shaadi.com, when she was in India and i was in london. In exactly 3 days after signing up on shaadi.com, i found her profile on the site. I contacted her and liked her and then fortunately made a trip to Delhi in exactly a weeks time and met her.
I told my family about Zaufishan. After that we exchanging emails we started calling each other.And my family came down from Patna to meet her Family. All this was happening in the 2-3 week of finding her profile on shaadi.com. Our families met and they liked each other. I went back from Delhi to London after a 3 weeks stay in there. Started talking to her almost everyday and realised that we both were looking for similar traits in each other. So then I proposed marriage to her. And all this happened after seeing her on shaadi.com on the 16th of May 04 and a 40 minutes meeting with her in barista, south ex-I on the 21st of May 04.
Then our families decided to get us engaged on the 4th of july. So we got engaged with my family completing the ceremony while i sat here in london. It all happened very fast to engagement after which we started to prepare for wedding which happened on CHRISTMAS DAY 04.. yes the 25th of Dec 04 in Delhi and Reception in Patna.
Now, we are happily married and love to say that "IT IS NEITHER LOVE NOR ARRANGED, IT IS SHAADI.COM". We both have not just found a life partner but have found ourselves in eachother. We now believe in the saying, MADE FOR EACH OTHER.....
We and our families are really happy, and everything has fallen in perfectly now. We could not have met without SHAADI.COM. I wish every one the same success in their search with Shaadi.com!!!
