I was registered on the site long back but had hardly seen any activity. Then in November 2003 I decided that I had to get married this year. I removed my passport size photo and replaced it with better photo. Wrote some decent lines in the profile and most importantly became a paid member. Very soon profile views went from 600 to 1200 in one month and received many odd proposals. I had also contacted 10-15 girls , almost all of whom responded. One of them was Sarita Jain. Her profile was very interesting but initially thought that she was not of my type. But we exchanged mails , chatted on net , and then decided to meet . Met first time on 08 April. We instantly liked each other and met couple of times again. Then in April our parents met and finally on 16th April I proposed marriage to her for which she said Yes. We got engaged on 16th April and intend to get married by 22nd June 2005. Thanks Shaadi.com you people have changed my life.
