It all started of as a joke in our family when we registered on to shaadi.com, though it was pretty serious from the guy's family's point of view. It was the first profile that had come for me and I was fascinated. Whatever transpired next was completely between the elders in the family. The horoscopes were matched and the biodatas exchanged. In the end it was decided that the guy, name Arun, and his family would come and see me on the 30th of May. They came and he and I spoke to each other. Although there was an initial apprehension about our ages( he is 6 years 11 months older to me), we were pretty comfortable with each other. The families were very happy and the engagement was fixed for 6th of June. But due to unavailability of tickets, it was decided that the engagement would take place the next day, with just the family members present.On 31st of May we were engaged and the marriage was fixed for 8th of July. After that we
spoke only on the phone(he is from Delhi and I am from Pune). But the gelling was perfect. We finally tied the knot on 8th of July with blessings from both sets of parents and friends and relatives too. Today after nearly 3 weeks of marriage, we are writing to thank you for the most wonderful partners you could have given us. They say that marriages are made in Heaven but you are the best agents Heaven could have on Earth.
