Yes it is true that I found my other half and soon we are getting married. Although I was close to finding someone on your website but due to many female member not making their parents a part of this process I gave up. Nonetheless my experience on your website was great. If you all could try to verify seriousness of a member before they are registered then it would be more real, for marriage is a serious issue and not a "FUN" activity. Hi to everyone at "shaadi.com" Firstly, this is just a little note to show my thanks to ur website, which has proved to b the best around. It's layout is fantastic, easy to use and very p.c friendly. I like the way it's always being improved, respects and actually encourages members' suggestions and maybe even puts them into use. I never would have used this or any website to find my " mr right "...you know how dodgy these sites are, but a friend suggested it and I gave it a shot (with a bit of encouragement and persuasion, of course)
I come from a very religous background and wasn't too keen, but I had tried the traditonal route, to no avail. However, I didn't want to do anything to jeopardise my faith, I am a practising muslim, so don't believe in "dating". This offered me an alternative in which I was in control......what could be better.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, I met the man of my dreams. He's everything I had ever hoped and dreamt of, and to top it off, my parents and family love him too! We are both sooooo happy and made for each other. It's funny where kismet will lead you, but we have got to have faith in ourselves and in God.
