Okay Shaadi.com world…
A friend informed me of Shaadi.com, so I thought of giving it a try and started surfing profiles. I came across "Sitwat" That was it! I created a profile that very minute and become a premium member so I could initiate contact.
In fact if you read my profile it starts with Sitwat and ends with Sitwat. I waited and waited for her to contact me back! Lucky me, she did but after 3 very long days, and we talked for hours, we knew acquaintances in Pakistan, and believe it or not she lived few streets from our house in Pakistan…Yes I was in heaven, and I made up my mind that this girl is heaven sent just for me… well, my excitement turned into agony as we stopped talking. I was just hurt beyond belief.
On May 30th, Sitwat and I spoke again after 3 months, and spoke every day for hours for a week and guess what…she disappeared again on me? Finally on Friday 13th, Sitwat called me and we cleared some misconceptions, and are moving forward with our mutual liking, respect, and one day commitment for each other.

This story is about Pressy and Joseph (a match meant to be made on Shaadi)
Joseph came across my profile in end of Feb 2002. When he contacted me, to me he was just another profile. One fine day, I took notice of him and then we started chatting. It was then I realised I would have passed up on a very good person. I started chatting with him with the intention of only being a good friend. After several hours of chatting and exchanging pictures. We suddenly found ourselves calling each other. By the end of September our relationship had taken a serious turn (for the better). We were in love. Joseph flew down from New york and spend 2 weeks in Dubai with me and my family. He met my relatives and my closest friends...he was totally adored by everyone. They all said he was "perfect" for me .Before he left to go back to New york, he had made his intentions very clear to my father. He wanted to marry me!!!(*smile*). Soon the wheels were in motion. Joseph's family and mine were constantly in touch.
Back home in Kerala, India plans were already being made to set a date for an engagement and a wedding.
Finally that day came, 29th december 2002. In the presence of our families and friends...we became one. It is still shocking and exciting for many of our relatives and friends when we tell them that we met on the internet, courtesy Shaadi.com.
