Ever wondered what happens when two people who are destined to be together but are exactly opposite, from different cultures and paths of life converge at an unexpected corner? MAGIC!

That's what happened when a stranger named Dileep (now my bestest half!) contacted me at the end of Dec'09. We spoke for a month before i decided to take a flight to Mumbai as i was based in Dubai. We met on 31st Jan 2010 and the moment i saw him, I knew my search has ended and he is THE ONE...it was in deed MAGIC!

One month later (1st March which incidently was HOLI) we got ENGAGED and set our Wedding Date for 21st Nov 2010.

HOW I MET TO MY PARTNER.

I created my account on Shaadi.com in the month of Dec.2010. I received many requests for marriage through Shaadi.com but I didn’t accept any request. On 31st of Dec. Raveendra Mishra, who lives in Raipur and whose resident is in Allahabad, send me request.

On 6th of Jan., when I become online, I found the request of Raveendra Ji . I liked his photograph and without thinking anything and also without reading his full profile I accepted his request. But after accepting his request I forgot about it. On 7th of Jan., he called me and gave me his introduction, but since I had forgotten about it was not remembered to me that I had accepted anyone’s request. But I continued to talk to him and gave him my introduction too. I asked his profile ID of Shaadi.com. He gave his profile ID through sms.

On 10th of Jan. I read his full profile and talked to him and after seeing his photograph I remembered that I accepted his request. There was a problem with me that I was manglik but he was not. My parents could never agree to marry me with a non manglik person. I told him about my problem. He took my date of birth, time of birth and place of birth to match our kundli. He demanded my photograph since I didn’t uploaded my photograph in Shaadi.com profile. He gave me his email ID and I send my photo to him. In the night, I called him to ask about my photograph and he appreciated it. We continued to talk to one another at night because we liked one another.

WHEN I FELL IN LOVE WITH HIM.

On 10th and 11th of Jan. we talked to one another at night about 45 minutes and on 12th of Jan. I felt that I was in Love with him because I liked his nature and behavior. He understood my feeling and on 13th of Jan. he proposed me, but I did not give any response to him. He was waiting for my response but I wanted some time to think on this topic because I had a fear in my heart that I’m manglik and my parents would never take any risk. Since I loved him so I could not wait for a long time and gave him positive response on 16th of Jan. first time I told him ‘I LOVE U’. We were very happy.



HOW OUR MARRIAGE WAS FIXED.

He told about me to his mother and gave my date, time and place of birth to her to match our kundli. After some days he gave me a very good news that he was also manglik about which he didn’t know. When I came to know that our kundli was successfully matched, I was very happy. After that I told to my parents about him. His father called to my father to talk about our marriage. My father agreed to meet him.

On 13th of Feb. my father went to his home and agreed for our marriage. On 23rd of Feb. Raveendra Ji came to Allahabad and we met at first time and spend about one hour together and went to Temple to give thanks to God. On the same day my father went to his home to meet him and he also saw him at first time. After that, on 24th of Feb. Raveendra Ji went to Jammu and returned from there on 28th of March. Meanwhile, on 27th of Feb. his father proposed to my father for our engagement. My father accepted his proposal and 2nd March (Maha Shivratri) was fixed for our engagement. On 2nd March, the date of our marriage was also fixed.

On 6th of March he had to go back to Raipur and I went to see off him at Allahabad railway station with meal for his journey. There we spend five hours together. When he was going, both of us were weeping because we love each other very much.

One more thing I would like to tell that since 10th of Jan. we have been talking daily at night and we are making record till our marriage.
