I am the father of Nirikshana. I had been your member for more than three years. During this period, we had gone through many suitable profiles, but things either were not taken to or did not go up to logical end.

Hi, we first met on Shaadi.com about 5 years ago in September 2002, but Satnam was on holiday in India and was unable to maintain contact through email. This is a true story of 2 people who came across each other through Shaadi.com and went on to become soul mates.
Both of us craved for a love marriage but never found the right person and always thought that we would not be able to fall in love with an 'arranged' partner. Then we registered on Shaadi.com, hoping that we would find the right partner. We kept browsing, getting hundreds of mails but nothing seemed to work. When she put a new set of filters, she came across my profile. She sent a request and I accepted.
The facts were all agreeable so we started off with a chat and went on to telephone calls. After initial breaking ice kind of conversation we found each other boring. But this was an arranged marriage, not supposed to be love at first sight, right ?
Slowly, both of us started liking each other. She loved the care which she found in me and I loved the frankness I found in her. We go on to imagine a day in our could-be married life. I find that her thoughts match mine. There was no looking back there on. We got comfortable with each other, talked more about feelings rather than likes, dislikes, movies etc. Both our families planned to meet.
