I signed up to Shaadi.com on Friday 8th Feb 2008 and hadn't really looked at my profile until the following Monday. I responded to the interest of Sati and we exchanged a couple of messages over the next week. We decided to meet on 21st Feb, as we go on so well over the phone. We hit it off straight away!! We met each other through the site the first time in December 2006. Thats when I posted my profile and his profile was already there. I had given my phone numbers on my profile. It was Ajay who contacted me first. At that time, I was not very sure whether I wanted to go ahead with this. So I asked him to contact my parents in this regard. He did that and would you believe that my dad rejected the proposal due to big age difference and probably different caste.

Time passed by after that and gradually we lost contact as things did not progress positively. Then after 7-8 months, Ajay sent me a message that just said 'Hi'. I was not sure what it meant. But then, I replied him and asked him directly whether he had found someone yet or was he still looking. That was the time when we really started having conversation with each other often. At that time, I had a lot of concerns because of the age difference and our own ages, difference in cultures etc...But gradually he was able to convince me that we could make for being good partners. During that period, I tried to talk to my mother about Ajay. She was very supportive and promised me that she will talk to my dad. Gradually I spoke to my dad...tried to convince him that he should give us a fair chance. And he cannot simply reject someone unless he has met him atleast once. My father understood my reasons and agreed to meet Ajay...ofcourse...with an open mind. All this took more than a year. It was not until dec 2007 that we finally decided to meet the first time.

But that meeting did all the magic, and meeting Ajay was a pleasure for all my family members...and it turned out to be a positive hope. And finally once we decided to tie the knot..we couldnt wait. We met in Dec 2007 and got married on Feb 24 2008.

I registered your site on 2005 but not had subscription on there...ok? but Riddhi had subscription on there on 2005... so I could not communicate personally on there. But I could see the interested people through your sending response email....sometimes some persons gave his email id on their response nd riddhi were there....so then I could response him and communicate by email, chatting etc...ok? and he was interested on me.....after our relationship grew up personally nd we loved each n other...then we told our family about this matter and they agreed our relationship they made our life most colourful...now we are husband wife and make our family lovely..

It is actually a miracle and God has his own plans to match according to his own ways. Suresh saw my profile first and send his interest to me and his profile found to be interesting as he is from Bangalore as I am also from the same place. And this was in the year September 2006 and it leads to exchange our email ID and phone numbers and became good friends instead of marriage proposal. We were very optimistic in our relationship. Suresh was an Australian Citizen and I was residing in the state of Kuwait. Since we were residing in two different countries it was not so easy for us to meet.
