Shaadi success story

We both are Anusri and Mohan. We believe fate played a large role as to how we met, liked each other and finally decided to put our friendship to rest, by deciding to live together for the rest of our lives. And shaadi.com played an important role. We believe our situation is unique.

We both live in the USA and we live on opposite coasts, She lives in the East and I live in the West. This will be the SECOND marriage for both. We both lost our former spouses due to various reasons. I have a child from my previous marriage and I wouldn't rest high and low till I find an excellent partner and mother for my child. Fortunately, there existed such a woman in shaadi.com by name of Anusri. After wedding out time wasters and women who either didn't fit my profile, or tried to judge me immaturely, I contacted Anusri and even before contacting her I had the gut feeling that this is something that might work. Luckily, she responded back, though a little late. She was in India when she accepted my contact and we then communicated via email for about 3-4 weeks. After she got back to USA, we then started talking on the phone and our friendship took off like a rocket after we figured out we have lots of things in common and lots of things to give in a relationship. We couldn't have anticipated in our dreams that we would find each other compatible partners! The rest is history. Our parents and siblings too are happy at this turn of events and have their blessings. I couldn't have met a better and wonderful woman than Anusri.

We have decided on a very simple registered wedding at our county courthouse in front of just handful of people. That is all we need to celebrate what we call our "new found" friendship and relationship!

Hi there, i know I am quite a bit late here ... but anyway here goes ...
Sameena's brother sent me a request to view her profile and I found it nice (well I don't know if you can feel anything more after going through someones profile) . Then sameena and I met up on the Shaadi website through the Shaadi messenger while I was telling her stuff about me , she went offline ... my reaction was that she sure seems very snobby ..just logging off without even bye.
A few days later we both happened to be online at the same time again and i messaged her ( actually was getting ready to give her a earful )..instead she asked me why did i leave all of a sudden the other day . We both realised that neither one of us had left but there was some problem with the messenger or the connection. And then the next thing I know she's asking me for my mobile number and I remember telling her "isn't that supposed to be my line" .. lol .
We spoke for about a week learning more about each other gradually . The first time we met up was at Barista Coffee Shop at Juhu .. and spent nearly 5 hrs together .. i knew rite then that she was t he one i wanted to spend the rest of my life with ..Our engagement took place on 18th September 2005 .... and the d-day took place on the 29th of October 2006 . soon we'll be completing our first anniversary and (better late than never) I would like to thank shaadi.com and all their staff for our success story .

I joined Shaadi.com around mid June 2007 and within 3 weeks I was contacted by Saeeda. We exchanged a few messages before we began talking over the phone (98 hours in total over 7 weeks). We met for the first time on the 29 July 2007, when I decided to go to Birmingham from London and leave a bunch of flowers and a box of chocolate on her car windscreen in front of her house. I told her what I'd done, and she was angry that I didn't give them to her in person. She tried persuading me to come in, since her family were all out. I told her I was nervous. She persisted and insisted and ordered me to come back (even though I was already 7 miles away) and give them to her in person. After 15 minutes of her persistence I gave in. And as soon as I entered her house porch, we were drawn to each other like a powerful magnet. We hugged and kissed each other. Her family returned as we stood there embracing each other. There was a mad panic, I then escaped through the side entrance of the house. We continued to talk on the phone and decided to get married as soon as possible.

HELLO FRIENDS.. Shaadi.com is really an amazing website helping many people meet their soulmates barring all geographical boundaries. We are thankful for having found each other..

We contacted through Shaadi.com while I was in Japan, liked each other and fixed a meeting when I came to India. we met on 15th august and Roka was on 19th. when I came back second time we got married on 28th of December 2003 in Jaipur.

If it wasn't for Shaadi.com.. we couldn't have even come into contact as there was no one common between families.

Now we are sharing a wonderful life together with each other and our lovely son Mrigank.

It was second time for both of us....as a single parent with a young child...it was difficult..meeting, settling issues..things never clicked..and then suddenly across the atlantic...he thought why not..and I responded sure..profile exchanged..emails..calls..
