I grew up in Mumbai and Dhule where I completed my engineering in 2005. Working in the database business since the dawn of 2006. Hit the shores of this continent in start of 2011 and now am currently working for American Express in NYC as a Data Architect.I am a jovial, ambitious and open person who is equally comfortable in his skin reciting his own poetry, telling jokes or Jumping out of airplanes as well. I absolutely love to travel without plans and am in love with mother nature and hence generally try to escape; either by driving long distances (Explored a lot of Konkan area by road and lot of northeast US) or by frequently hiking or camping (I have climbed almost all the gadhs near Pune and Mumbai at least once).I also love to dabble into adventure sports and have tried sky diving, deep sea diving, hang gliding and sky jumping.Long distance touring on motorcycle is also one of my forte which included Bangalore Mumbai ride on a Royal Enfield (~1000 kms) and more recently Miami to NY on a Harley (~2200 kms). I read everything but prefer modern History, philosophy, romantics, comedies and the classics including both Marathi and English. My list of English books is increasing since Marathi books here are a bit harder to come by.Also, as an artist inside, I tend express my creativity by Photography, sketching and recently acquired taste of water colors. More recently I have started frequenting the 'Spoken Word Poetry' circuits here and trying to dabble into the world of improvisational comedy as well.I love big cities and try to enjoy all the options that the NYC offers.I have a penchant for languages which is used to compose poetry and learn new languages. So far I can understand Gujrati, Ahirani, bits and pieces of Bengali & Telugu apart from the standard Marathi, Hindi, English.Experimenting in everything including cuisines is my forte. I am not much of a foodie but have a good sense of taste and have recently started feeling around in the finer art of culinary.I actively try to experience everything and collect a lot of stories. Friends say that I am a good listener too and have "happy go lucky" personality. Looking for a Thinking girl with sense of humor and brilliance to go along with it, maybe match my hobbies or teach me something new. Need to have a positive outlook in life, open mind and passionate about something. She should be also ready to be a part of my family as I am enjoying the perks of this country now but currently haven't decided where I want to settle as the roads back home haunt me equally well.
