I am a family orientated person. I prefer spending time with family, close friends and any kids that happen to be around! I love to see people happy! I am a caring and considerate person with a calm non violent personality. I tend to be reserved, but begin to open up to people once I get to know them more.
I was born in Zimbabwe, where I spent most of my childhood and teenage years. I went to a private boarding school (Peterhouse) for GCSE and A Levels before leaving for the UK in 2006. I completed my degree in Actuarial Science and Economics in 2010 from Southampton University and obtained a permanent role in a Life Insurance company. I am currently doing my Actuarial qualification.
I would like to meet someone who is friendly, supportive, honest and has respect for all people - good, bad, old and young. I would like someone who chooses to be softly spoken in a discussion and understands that arguing is being ignorant to a conflicting opinion. I believe this type of person will bring about the best in me and allow me to be confident in a relationship. An ideal partner would value the need of a discussion as allowing each other know what they think. This is important to me as I do not wish to be with someone who will hide something from me on the basis of avoiding confrontation. That does no good to either of us. We both have to be each others best friend and honesty and openness helps build up that trust.
My family is very close to each other. My parents and elder brother are in Zimbabwe where they run a family business. My mum is really sweet and good at heart, always wishing well of people. As with most mothers, she is also very caring and worries about people she cares about. She was born and brought up in Zimbabwe. My dad is very considerate, generous and caring, but does have the tendency to conceal it. He was born and brought up in Mumbai. My brother is very supportive and has cared for me throughout my life. As an elder brother, he has always looked out for me and offered opinions and advice. Though at times we don't agree on things! Though our disagreements have never come between us.
I am a mixture of the qualities of my family. As a whole we are humble, accommodating and believe in following a principled based life based on a foundation in religion.
