    • My day is always an active search for new things to learn and new academic and creative projects to engage in. I love writing stories and composing music. I'm generally out-and-about for most of every day, meeting new people and growing old friendships.

      My day-to-day work as a Research Fellow at Stanford spans neuroscience, economics, and environmental science; I'm studying the neuroeconomics of environmental decision-making. I use brain imaging to see how people route information when they're dealing with environmental issues, and help design new ways of presenting environmental information for policymakers, energy economists, educators alike. I love academic life and intend to become a professor, though I'll still likely consult on decision science and behavioral econ for environmental organizations.

      Writing has always been a great pursuit of mine - over the years I've written plays, student films, short stories, and even a young adult novel, Wolf Trails. After undergrad, I worked for several years as a medical writer, writing journal papers for doctors - that burned me out a bit on writing, but when I came home from work I still wanted to do something creative - which led to me picking up composing. I use the keyboard, guitars, and a fun PC setup that lets me emulate entire orchestras one instrument at a time - it's a lot of fun!

      I'm half-Indian, half-American - I'm on Shaadi as I'm very close to the Indian side of the family, and would love to further commit to that side of my heritage. I'm visiting India currently (until March) and though mostly in Mumbai will be traveling around a bit. I'd love to strike up a conversation on here, and if we seem to connect, to explore it further by meeting while I'm still in India.

      In a partner, I'd love to find a great sense of humor, intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a general love of life and strong sense of optimism. I'm always upbeat and positive, have a great and consistently interesting life in Silicon Valley with fantastic friends and great family, and would love to share these days with someone.new.
