I am 35, single, Hindu male living in New Jersey, USA.
I was born and raised in Mumbai and have been living in the US for the past 10+ years now. I believe my metropolitan upbringing has definitely had an influence on my personality. I am ambitious, optimistic, simple and practical with a good sense of humor.
Liberal in my opinions and diverse in my interests.
Love camping the summer, find the ocean serene and have been scuba diving for the past 2 years. Have recently begun to explore photography and has been quite fascinating. Simple love food, to eat and to cook in that order and am always looking to expand on my culinary horizons.
Music is something I cant live without. Played the violin and did some singing for a few years while in high school. Listen to a bit of everything from Indian Classical, new age, trance to indy rock. I played table tennis and a chess at a competitive level while in school and college. Fairly athletic and try to stay fit. Need some motivation in that area and but haven't give up yet.
I like reading and am greatly impressed by good writing.
Would want to travel, may be backpack through the world at some point and I seriously mean it.
I am someone you can trust with your worst secret yet wouldn't judge.
I could be strongly opinionated at times and am great to argue with but am open to convincing. I have strong family values and am fiercely loyal to my friends... I am sure they will vouch for it. About my loving family... my dad is semi-retired ex-divisional manager of Canara Bank. Currently consulting for an accounting firm. My mom also retired from a Bank. My sister is married and currently lives in Boston. She works in the financial industry.
I have a large extended family, accomplished and well placed both in India and the US. (the last count was over 100... right here in the US so there is constant excitement and occasional controversy;-))
Graduated at the top of my class and was selected as the outstanding student of the outgoing class. Professionally I am a physical therapist, well placed and work at an outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine practice. I have just started my clinical doctorate on a part time basis and hence am really busy managing work and school. So please excuse me if I am a little late in replying to messages.
I am attracted to independent and intelligent women. Someone who is smarter than me and would inspire me. Someone I can confide in, share my dreams and have long conversations with. One who would accompany me on this journey called life.
I do acknowledge that I am not perfect(am definitely striving to better myself as a person everyday) and no matter how hard you try a lot of what is written above does appeared cliched... a little cheesy at times (blame it on the music in the background) but I am hoping it catches your eye and if it does grab your attention... we could initiate communication and see if we can make that connection. What do u have to lose.
My parents are passively involved in the process and would love to jump in if required. I don't know if that is my validation of my genuine intentions but I am doing the best I can.
WOW!! this turned out to be a lot longer than I thought. I hope I have not lost u somewhere along the way. I really appreciate u taking the time to read this.
