Hello, I'm Tara. It is often difficult to describe yourself, but here is a try. I'm energetic and ambitious. I've been blessed to have a wonderful family with whom I am very close with as well as a lot of friends whom over the year I've come to consider my family. I really value friendship and put a lot of effort into these relationships. My friends would probably describe me as a fun, strong willed person who is an excellent listener. I enjoy going out and about with my friends regularly, but I am also content to relax at home watching TV or a movie.
My interests are wide and varied. I love to try new cuisines and my favorite foods include sushi, thai and mexican. I also love to cook and when I have time, I enjoy cooking for others. I used to be an avid reader, but don't read quite as much recreationally, however somehow find the time to read one of the newest novels. Music and dance have always been a large part of my life. I grew up playing musical instruments at school as well as learning classical Indian dance, Bharatanatyam. While time is a constraint, I still occasionally dance and love when I am able to do so. I also enjoy watching sports, in particular college football and NBA. I'm a fan of Michigan football, my alma mater.
As for work, I'm in my 3rd year of internal medicine residency with plans to start working next year. Overall, I am planning to do a fellowship in the future. I find a great deal of satisfaction in my work and feel ready to move on to the next stage. I intend to continue working and furthering my career and am looking for a partner who is supportive of these goals.
I am looking for a partner who is a mix of eastern and western values, preferably some who has been born and raised in the US, as I have been. Also, I respect success and ambition and appreciate a well educated partner who has career goals. I think that communication is the most important aspect of a relationship. My family is important to me and I would only hope to create a future with my partner as loving and balanced as my parents created for me.
