I am quite a simple person at heart. Having passed out of Armed Forces Medical College, Pune in 2009, I have joined the Indian Army as an SSC medical officer, which means that I would be leaving services in another 1.5 years. I will be appearing for USMLE steps in the next one year, and plan to do my post graduation in the US, which would be immediately after leaving the forces. As of now, I am based at Punjab.I would describe myself as honest, adventurous, cheerful person. I do believe in finding happiness in small things in life, and being good to everyone. I am not very religiously inclined, rather I believe that doing your duty and being a good human being is enough to have peace of mind. Lastly, I love to travel, and I am passionate about photography, mountaineering. I am into music in a big way, with interests ranging from Bollywood oldies, to Trance and Alternative Rock. I am a movie fanatic as well. As far as sports is concerned, I play Squash and Badminton; and simply love swimming.
My parents are PhD scholars. Dad was Reader in Zoology, and he retired as Deputy Director Higher Education of the state in 2009. Mom is still teaching as Sr. Reader in Chemistry at the most reputed Govt college in Bhubaneswar. I have a younger brother who is a freshman at National Law School, and University, Bangalore, the top notch law school of India. We are an upper middle class family, with very liberal and modern value system. Our extended family consists mostly of doctors, both on paternal and maternal sides. We have been based at Bhubaneswar for more than three decades now.
I am looking for a girl, who would be more of a best friend and companion than just wife. Someone, with whom I can crack witty jokes, have an intellectual conversation with, travel all over the world, and share experiences with. Someone pretty, simple at heart, honest, bubbly, impulsive, adventurous, naughty and who would keep smiling always. She would be pampered like anything by my family, of which I'm sure; most likely they'll forget me ;). She would have the complete freedom to pursue her profession, her hobbies and interests. Most importantly, she should be good at heart...rest everything is secondary..
