      Before anything else I would like to say that there is a dark patch on the bridge of my nose, approx 2x2 cm in size.

      So, Salaam again :) Am Almas Shamim from Port Blair, India and finished my MBBS from Kerala, India. You can search my name in FB. I believe that marriage is that beautiful bond by which God spreads His love among humans. Indeed, like the Qur’an Paak says, a spouse is like a garment to us. My parents, believe that ‘I’ shud choose the person with whom ‘I’ wud have to spend my life. Lucky me !! But, by registerin wid dis site, I do not mean that I am willin to marry just anyone. So, if you are lookin for a quick marriage, I’m sorry. I seriously believe that it is quite impossible for two people to know each other thru a few short phone calls and e-mails. Knowing someone takes a long time, and I am here to find just that. I am an absolute dreamer, a total romantic and believe that I should marry someone with whom I am head over heels in love with. No, I am not askin for spendin days and nights together… but, yes, I do wish to know him well enuf to be ‘in love’ with him on the day I become his bride. I DO NOT want to become a member of a family I don’t even know. For me, knowing the man and his family is extremely important. Plus, I feel the guy shud also know me. A mere profile cud be very deceptive. This ‘knowing’ could take a long time, so, if u don’t have time in hand or you don’t feel this is the ‘right’ way of doin things, am sorry :) I know this is a long shot, but I do not mind. If my Prince Charming doesn’t come along, I wouldn’t mind being a Princess of my own kingdom but I ain’t settling for less.

      About me: I am a happy person, Alhamdulillah. I love smiling, laughing and having fun. About My Partner
    • Well. My husband should be, inshaAllah, a man whom I can respect, love and be friends with, all at once. Someone with whom I can be myself and who himself has no pretence. Practicing Islam is a must. Should pray FIVE times in a day and should be able to lift me up in Islam rather than drag me down to something lower. Having said that, he shud also be a man who respects all religions. If you or ur family members are in the habit of using "kaafir" as a slang, am sorry, am not the one for you. Plus, I aint yet ready to wear an abaya or a niqab, so plz.. nor am I willing to quit the hijab.
      Should be caring and all things nice :) and No anti-Indiaism plz. Also, the only languages I can speak are English and Urdu-Hindi, a little bit of Malayalam, so I am not ready to work in a state (or country) where, as a doctor, I wouldn't be able to talk to my patients in their native language.
      I also wudnt want you to marry me just coz I am a doctor. Marry me for me not for my degree.
      I haven't yet decided about whether to study ahead or not. But, in any case, am not a very career-driven person, so if you're looking for an ambitious girl, again, sorry. :)
      I will not give 'dowry' and I wil not use the 'OBC' status. Am a proud Muslim, not a proud OBC.
      And yes, if there's something bad bout me, do not scream and force me to change.. rather set an example by being good yourself and trust me, I will adapt to u without even ur hinting me to change.
      Am ready to adjust. Not to compromise.
