    • Salam Alaikum,

      I come from a traditional Indian/ Pakistani family. My parents are of mixed Indian heritage. I have a big family of 5 siblings, 2 sisters and 3 brothers and I am the youngest.

      I work full time and am also a Mathematics student at the University of Illinois. I will graduate with a bachelors within a year.

      I enjoy spending time with my family as well as my friends. On weekends, I usually like to hang out, go to family dinners, and attend nice social gatherings. I also like to swim, play basketball, and tennis, so I guess that makes me athletic lol.

      I enjoy listening to music, sometimes classic rock but more importantly songs that convey a good message and remind me of spirituality. Some artists such as Bob Dylan and Jonny Cash are great musicians and I admire Sufi music as well, including various salawat and nasheed. Music to me is like the language of the heart, playing and listening to it gives me the aspiration to see things in a different light. Having a humorous personality also inspires me to challenge myself.
