      Let me acquaint you with a few things about myself.

      I was born and brought up in Shillong where I studied till my 12th standard, after which I graduated in Electronics Engineering from Nagpur University in 2007. After my graduation, I attended a one-year course at the Center for Development of Advanced Computing, Mumbai. I am working with The Clearing Corporation of India Limited at Mumbai as a software developer since 2008.

      I love to read, listen to music and travel. My interests in reading span classics, biographies, short stories, thrillers, a bit of history and spiritual. I like to listen to Tagore Songs, ghazals, sufi music, Indian and Western pop. During my school days, I learnt Rabindra Sangeet for eight years.

      My parents are staying at Shillong where we have our own house. My father was working with The Survey of India ? a Central Government organization ? and is retired since 2006. My mother is a homemaker. My mother is a strong, loving and caring lady. A graduate of Calcutta University, she had a great contribution to my education during its formative years and even later. My father is a man of discipline and adept in handling practical affairs.

      I have a few friends who mean a lot to me. They are the ones who have been with me through thick and thin and with whom I can openly share my thoughts, feelings and experiences.

      My parents and friends have always been a source of strength and inspiration to me.
