Sara here to introduce herself.
Let's see. Where to begin? I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO, my dad has been here in America for over 30 years now. I have two sisters, one older and one younger. My older sister is married. My dad and my sister are both pharmacists and work together in their own pharmacy. My younger sister recently graduated from law school. And I am a teacher. Currently, I'm working with 4-year-olds but my goal is to eventually get a high school social studies job.
A little bit about my personality. I love to have fun and joke around. I have a very outgoing personality, I'll try anything once. I love to play games, which means I can be pretty competitive. I've recently gotten into running. I just completed my first half-marathon. I want to try and do as many as I can because I really like getting a medal as I cross the finish line. I may not be the fastest runner in the world but I still call it good because there are plenty of people who are still sitting on the couch. I love to watch movies (fun fact: I save all my ticket stubs from the theater, a hobby I started when I was 10.) I also enjoy television. Top shows right now are Once Upon a Time, The Walking Dead, and How I Met Your Mother (kind of all over the place I know.) I really love pop culture and fun facts. My dream job would be a commentator on one of those shows like I Love the 80s or The Soup. I also love reading. Harry Potter is my favorite book series of all time, but I branch out and read other things too. I'm always open to suggestions.
I consider myself to be a moderate to liberal Muslim. I started wearing hijab when I was 15 years old and do not regret it one bit. I am very involved with interfaith work in St. Louis. I am a coordinator of a dialogue group with Jewish and Muslim teenagers. Alongside that, I also try to do as much interfaith work as I can. I'm a very firm believer in that you can't understand your own religion until you understand all the religions, that's how you know your religion is the right one.
Since I was raised in America, I consider myself to be pretty western. But I also have a very cultural side to me and fully respect the Pakistani culture.
I love baseball. And by baseball I mean I love the Cardinals since they are the only team I pay attention to.
Have you made it this far yet? If you have, congratulations! Here's the beginning of a joke: Two muffins in an oven, one muffin goes "Man it's hot in here."Â…..to be continued.
Basically, at the end of the day, I'm pretty awesome.

Looking for someone who values religion and family, but also understands the importance of moderation. Someone who has a good sense of humor. Education is also very important to her. Occupation doesn't matter, but it is important to find someone she can relate to.
