A nerdish foodie, fit yogi, harmonica player, and an engineer at a startup. I recently moved to the Bay Area for an exciting new job and trying to adjust with the life and culture here. But I am loving it, especially the food, ideas, and places it has to offer. Before moving here, I was in (sunny) San Diego where I completed my grad studies in Electrical Engineering from the University of California. My interests include playing chess, ping-pong, tennis (big Federer fan), swimming, traveling, and cooking. I am simple, very determined, a little quirky, sometimes sarcastic, mostly empathetic, not-always-stereotype, and as chivalrous as probably Merriam-Webster would describe it :)
My family is close-knit, well-educated, and traditional with a modern outlook (actually, pretty cool I should say :) ). We are very open to each other and enjoy little bantering over dinner or video chats. My mother is a commerce graduate and is now a homemaker, my father studied Mechanical engineering and is now a businessman in Ahmedabad, and my brother is an automobile engineer currently pursuing his post graduation in Canada.
I am looking for a partner who is smart, curious, active, independent, passionate about her work/education and life in general. More importantly, I am looking for a best friend (a.k.a. partner in crime) who can giggle on my "punny" jokes, listen with interest to my anecdotes, provide a different perspective when I am wrong, and support me through the ups and downs in the important moments of life. Of course, she can expect the same or more from me.
I would like to keep it short here as I think I am much more witty and interesting over chats and meetings :)
