We are a progressive, Kannadiga Brahmin family from Bangalore. Our son is an Entrepreneur living in New York. His company has over 250 people and has offices in 4 different countries. He is well-traveled, educated and is looking to settle down. We don't require Horoscopes but his horoscope is available if necessary. We are looking for a well-educated, good-looking daughter-in-law who can be a friend and life-long companion for our son. Here is a little bit about our son in his own words. Thanks.
I grew up in Bangalore, India but moved to the US almost 9 years ago. I work hard at my job and at my jokes (I spend more time practicing my jokes than my slides!). I am a recent transplant to New York and love it here. Honesty and ethics matter a lot to me. I am almost always cheerful and an optimist and ready to do anything for my friends and the people I love. I'm proud of my roots and where I'm from but global in my outlook and a citizen of the world.
My company, a marketing analytics & consulting firm, works with some of the greatest brands in the world. I have built my career on pretending to be the calm in the face of trouble when all I want to do I scream my guts out! Driving growth for the company and coming up with new ideas for the business keeps me busy. And I travel so much I can guess the weight of any suitcase just by lifting it!
Busy as I am, I always have time for a book or two. I try to make time to run a few times week. and for an afternoon nap! I love to travel and experience other cultures and mores. and since my move to NYC, I am trying to explore everything that this amazing city has to offer.
I dream of putting my skills to use for a worthy cause soon. I am hoping to make my pot of gold sometime soon and work for a non-profit, particularly one that furthers education.
I am looking for a smart, open-minded person who is ambitious and has a mind of her own. I want my partner to love India as much as I do but be open minded about living anywhere where our lives take us. Beyond this, I think we should talk, possibly meet, and go from there.
That's me, in a (rather large) nutshell! So if this has piqued your interest, you are looking for a friend you can share anything with, like taking care of someone & being taken care of in return, say hello and we can go from there. Cheers & Good luck!
