Hi there - I'm an East Coast transplant who currently calls San Francisco home. I'm a fun, smart, unpretentious gal who's a little quirky, a little dorky and a little silly. I like tennis, Ken Burns documentaries, a good red wine, NPR and karaoke (one day, you can ask to hear my awesomely bad rendition of Livin' on a Prayer!). I am fairly well-traveled but there is still so much to see -- I'm definitely accepting applications for fellow wanderlusts! I'm trying to get more into meditation and have been exploring Art of Living and Spirit Rock. That said... I have a pretty good sense of who I am and what I can offer to someone, which is one of the joys of life once you're in your 30s!
My parents are wonderful and have given me a great foundation to live my life with honor, responsibility and an unwavering appreciation for all the amazing opportunities that have come my way. My dad is a retired engineer and my mom is a retired psychologist and they split their time between Bangalore and the US. I also have scattered extended family in the VA/DC and Bay areas. We are a close-knit, well-educated family with progressive social views.
In terms of what I'm looking for in a partner: Ideally, someone who grew up in the US (or has spent a significant amount of his life here), is vegetarian and environmentally conscious, can make me laugh, and holds family/friends in high regard. Someone who generally sees the glass as half full, is kind-hearted, easy-going, and is at a point in his life where he is looking to settle down. If you are the non-cookie cutter type who sometimes relishes taking the road less-traveled, def drop me a line. I'd love to get to know you and see if we click in other ways (or at the very least, become good friends). Good luck! :-)
