    • Hi
      I'm looking for a like minded person to share my life with. I never thought that I would have to resort to advertising my interests in such a fashion but then again, what better a medium than the internet, which would allow me to connect with people extensively. I have done my Bachelors in Arts (History) degree from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University and followed it up with a Masters in Arts (International Relations) degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Worked for a while and have taken a break in order to prepare for the civil services examination. I have a keen interest in human rights issues and aim to work in the development sector eventually. I enjoy experimenting with cooking (kiwi chicken was my latest concoction), spending time with family and friends (and serving them food like kiwi chicken =p), adventure sports, reading (fiction, history, philosophy), arts and crafts (when the mood calls for it- painting, pottery, interior decoration), etc. I asked my cousin to describe me and she came up with "adventurous, spontaneous, free-spirited and awesome" =)

      I'm seeking someone who is fun, has a similar sense of humour, has lived a cosmopolitan lifestyle, well educated, ambitious, with a leftist or a centrist political ideology, someone who prioritizes his family, is understanding and accepting of unconventional opinions, responsible, well versed in economics, finances and takes an interest in current affairs, has a mature way of handling uncomfortable situations without resorting to aggression, is well mannered and loves dogs!

      I could go on and on really but it's not about similar tastes in music or movies as we will continue to evolve throughout our lives and our tastes would change with time, but it's about how we'd deal with our differences and incompatibility that would really matter the most.

      Regarding family, my father is Chief Commissioner, IRS, Government of India. My uncle is Principal Secretary, IAS, Government of Maharashtra. My mother is a librarian in Central School. My elder brother is a freelance writer. They give immense importance to education and have liberal values.
