Born and raised in Mumbai and a complete Mumbaikar at heart, I must say, Mumbais free-spirited and cosmopolitan vibe has instilled in me a great deal of awareness and confidence that has helped me learn to be inclusive of people from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. I have lived in Mumbai till the age of 24 where I completed my Bachelors in Engineering as well as worked for a German firm as a Project Engineer for 2 years. I have always loved to travel to new places and what I enjoyed most about my job then was it involved a good deal of travel to customer sites and other company locations which helped me get some great exposure to people and places and as a result, I have developed a greater sense of appreciation for the minute things in life while being away from home on those trips. As someone straight out of college, I could not have asked for a better start to my professional career and truly feel blessed for the opportunities that the Lord has sent my way.
In the fall of 2009, I came to the US to get my Masters from the University of Colorado.
The transition from Bombay to Boulder was exhilarating and my ability to adapt in new environments and get along with people helped me a great deal to blend in with the American way of life. I lived in Boulder for 2 years while getting my Masters as a typical on-campus grad student juggling between midterms, assignments, projects, finals and an on-campus job. My time in Boulder made me learn a lot about being independent and shaped my character immensely which helped me grow both personally and professionally.
I graduated with my Masters in Dec 2011 but moved to San Antonio in June 2011 itself as I had got a full-time opportunity to work as a Network Security Engineer with an American firm head-quartered in SA. Moving from Colorado to Texas was an important decision
I had to make as far as my professional career went. I knew I had to leave beautiful Colorado for work but the anxiety of having to relocate and start life fresh was nerve-racking but at the same time a great learning experience. So far I have thoroughly enjoyed the Texan experience in every way possible and look forward to more of it. As I have moved on to this new phase of being a working independent professional in a crazy, fast-paced technology world, I am seeking a partner who can understand and love me for the person I am and spend the rest of her life with me in marriage.
Deep in my heart, I truly feel I am an opportunist and strongly believe in living life to the fullest-"Work Hard, Play Harder". I would like to be described as someone who is extremely hard-working, career-driven as well as one who values family and relationships a great deal. I do not consider myself to be perfect in anyway but do strive to live my life in a very respectable manner that abides by Christian values and would love for my partner to bring a new perspective and balance to my life. I also consider myself to be very fortunate for having parents that have been extremely supportive in every possible way to help me get to where I am today.
You may have gauged by now that I am someone who loves to travel, be adventurous and experience new things that life has to offer and I would love to have the opportunity to be married and continue to live life with someone who feels the same and shares similar values and interests.
Being married to the one you love the most as well as having them as your best friend is a great feeling and God willingly; I hope to connect with that perfect someone out there with whom I can share every bit of my life.
So with all that being said, if something sparks your interest and you would like to know more about me and my family, feel free to hit me up and I would be glad to tell you more.
