I just moved back to Indiana from Washington, D.C. after finishing my master's in speech-pathology. I'm pretty sure the East Coast isn't done with me yet, but I'm happy to be in Indiana for the time being. My parents and younger brother live a couple of hours away from me. We're very close and I try to see them as often as I can. Right now I'm working as a speech therapist here in Fort Wayne and I love my job! :-)
I tend to travel a lot in general on the weekends to visit family and friends- usually Chicago, Indianapolis and the East Coast. I love dancing, trying new foods, throwing dinner parties, experimenting in the kitchen (I enjoy cooking FOR people, but I love cooking WITH people even more). I like superhero movies and tearjerkers as well, reading (memoirs are probably my favorite genre), swimming, long walks, hiking, watching sports (football and basketball) and traveling. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is really important to me, and I try my best to eat healthy foods and exercise regularly.
I'd likely pair best with a guy who is open minded, hilarious and a free thinker. I believe strong friendship has to be the foundation of any great relationship, so I'd like to spend a good amount of time getting to know someone before taking any major steps.
