    • Anita was born in Chennai but we moved to New Delhi when she was two years old. She did her schooling in Delhi. She has grown into a sweet, charming, beautiful, pleasing, well mannered, disciplined, extremely responsible, a very loving, affectionate, soft spoken and a pretty girl who always has a smile on her face.

      She is a very fun loving person with a good sense of humor. She enjoys cooking, travelling and exploring new places, watching movies, reading, listening to music. Being part of the nutrition field she has a great passion to cook, serve and eat healthy and nutritious foods. Whenever she gets time she likes to cook cuisines of different cultures.

      Our daughter is a published US educated researcher in nutrition science. She has written a paper which is published in the journal Diabetes Management.

      After completing her undergraduate studies in the US she came to India. Currently she is in New Delhi and pursuing Research in Diabetes under the supervision of one of India's top diabetologists. She is also pursuing her M.Sc and is currently working on her dissertation.

      Incidentally, we wish to say that she had been offered admission for the Masters Program in Medical Nutrition from the Boston School of Medicine, Boston University for Fall 2012, but since it was not fully funded, she did not accept their offer.

      She plans on completing her Ph.D. in the future in the US and we require her partner to be someone supportive of her professional and technical ambitions and who will motivate her further to achieve this goal. She is extremely interested in pursuing a career in research and work as Research Scientist in the near future.

      In addition to her academic interests, she has a passion for Bharatanatyam and trains regularly. She is moving progressively towards getting her Bachelors in Bharata Natyam apart from her academics.

      In essence, we are looking for a partner who is her intellectual peer and who will love, encourage, and support her. We are looking for a person who plans on settling down only in the US.

      Our Family:

      Anita's father is a specialist in banking software systems and has worked for Indian Overseas Bank. He now trains future bankers and is working in the Private Sector in a senior position. Her mother is a self employed person involved in academics. Her brother completed his PhD in the US . He completed his Undergraduate Degree from University of Rochester, New York, and PhD from University of Wisconsin - Madison . He is married and well settled in Boston. We also wish to say that he has married an American girl. We performed his wedding in Boston.
