Personality, Family Details, Career, Partner Expectations etc.
    • Probably a few years ago I would not have considered "showcasing" myself on shaadi. com - however being much more mature and settled in life - I definetly like to explore the option of meeting someone who is comfortable with who they are and likes to live "outside the box". Many people think those that are born here are ABCD's - however in reality the only part of me that is confused is what does desi mean to me. I am born as a first generation American Gujrati - attended school and college in NJ. I was able to appreciate my parents struggle and hardwork and apply those principals to my everyday life. Although I am Jain and Indian - I do not consider that to define me - the values and examples my parents instilled in me - is what has defined me. I am confident that once you meet me - you will understand.
      So back to Jersey - born and raised and surrounded by a lifetime Navratri Celebrations, Oak Tree Road and Little India, I mean Edison, and of course Famous Pizza - however I am the antithesis of all of that. After a hard day at work or the office, I find spending time with friends and family is much more important then dating random strangers that family friends try to set me up with. I also don't need a hectic social life - I am laid back and enjoy going out to dinner with friends or just heading home with a good movie from Redbox! Instead of normal retail jobs that most highschool kids have - I couldn't work the mundane jobs and instead started an entertainment company with some friends and provided DJ and MC services for parties (from sweet sixteens to 50th anniversary parties). In essence I like to control my destiny and walk to the beat of my drum. I guess coming from a family business background - I like to reap the benefits of my hard work not just in the form of a paycheck - but also a sense of accomplishment that I contribute to the growth and stability.
      I definetely like to have fun and hope that someone I spend my life with enjoys life. I think the best way to describe me is that I like to work hard and play hard! I love spending time with my family - especially my nieces.
      I guess if my mom was reading this she probably would want me to mention that I am 27 years old, 5'11", and lean. I like to work out, especially swimming on the beach - not the Jersey shore though. I am currently living in south texas - and love the beach and awesome Mexican food!
