***SHORT VERSION: If youre a Sunni Pakistani, 25-28 years old, at least 5' 11", if you share my strange love for burgers and fries, you love Bhangraaaa, were born and raised in either the States or Canada....hit that Interest button! Lol read on if youd like and good luck with your search!***
Hello there! Im a Cali girl, born and raised. I have an older sister and a younger brother and a slightly aggressive German Shepherd named Diesel. My parents are awesome, so whoever I end up marrying will love his in-laws (iA haha).
My parents were born and raised in Pakistan and have been in the States for over 30 years now. They're highly respected back home and here as well. My dad may look intimidating, but hes a sweetheart once he opens up to you. My mom is the best mom ever. Shes super sweet and an awesome cook too! If you need a good laugh, my parents (or I!) are the people to go to.
My siblings are like my best friends. I love hanging out with them and being weirdos. Diesel is like the baby of the family and hes very loved. Hes super protective and I wouldnt have him any other way. Hes my babyy! My siblings and I all attended the Univ of the Pacific, so that's something we always laugh about. I come from a tall family, but apparently the height gene skipped me lol but I love my heels! Hence the height requirement Ive placed on my partner search..hahaha. Now dont get me wrong, I dont wear crazy hooker heels lol but I do like some height difference in a couple. I think it looks super cute if the guy is a feww inches taller than the girl when shes wearing heels. Sooo yeah. 5' 11" or taller pleasee. Otherwise, that would be very awkward..lol.
I have a BA in Political Science from the University of the Pacific. Although I originally wanted to pursue a career in law, I really believe education is my calling. You know the old saying, 'I care, therefore, I teach' ? Well, it's become my motivator :) I love children! So now, I'm working towards getting my teaching credential inshAllah. Duas are widely accepted!
I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, DIY-ing, doing mehndi, shopping, running with Diesel, staying in shape, baking, cooking, eating haha, dressing up, planning events, being a girly girl, driving, watching videos, going to get togethers and parties, studying, reading, playing video games, being spontaneous, laughing, enjoying life, watching tv and movies, going to car shows, dancing, taking pictures, instagram, add me shabanaaa___ , listening to bhangra super loudly, and doing other random stuff. I like trying new things, especially food! However, Pakistani/Indian, Italian and American are my favorite cuisines. I absolutely love burgers, fish and chips, chicken fingers, veggie pasta, kabab, aloo gobi, briyani, and chaat. I also have a huge sweet tooth! Dark chocolate is a good friend of mine haha. So are jalebia and barfi and cupcakes and cake and cookies!! :)
Fun facts time! I consider myself an independent girl. I go after what I want and I'll stop at nothing to get it. I'm really organized and determined. My favorite colors are purple, magenta, yellow and emerald. My favorite numbers are 22 and 24. My favorite sports team is the Los Angeles Kobes, I mean Lakers =D. My favorite/dream car is a 1969 Chevy Camaro RS *drool*. My favorite season is Winter. I'd rather be in Pakistan during the Summer rather than in America, bc I'm cool like that. I have a love-hate relationship with my hair. I don't think it's nice to call muffins ugly cupcakes. Saag is nasty. My internal fob comes out when I hear Bhangra. Paul Walker is crazy cute. I like BBQ sauce with my fries. I need a bigger closet. I make my bed every morning. I love aloo, but hate mashed potatoes. I know green tea is better for you, but I'm Pathan, so I can never say no to legit chai. I'm pretty random. I can't stand messy or dirty things and I have a tendency to wash my hands quite often.
If you're still alive and reading this, Hi-5! Lol what I'm looking for in a guy is someone who has an awesome personality, first of all. It doesn't matter if you're cute and can dress well, but you have zero people skills. I think you can get a sense of how I'm like in real life by the tone of this bio thing :) So if you don't think we're compatible by what I wrote so far, then homie, this ain't gonna work yaknowwhatimsayinn?! lol seriously though.
I want to meet a guy who I can laugh uncontrollably with, dance to Bhangra with, raise beautiful kids with, cook with, hang out with, enjoy a burger and fries with. I want someone I can finally attend a Lakers home game with, someone I can chill with, pull pranks on people with, be spontaneous with. I want a guy who would be just as comfortable in a tshirt and sweats or jeans as he would be in a suit and tie or shalwar kameez. Woah that kinda rhymed..lol awesome.I want to meet someone who'd be able to hold a conversation with my crazy friends, a guy who I could go sight seeing with, go on random drives with, workout with, be random with. Pretty much a guy I could just enjoy life and inshallah start a family with. I want someone who I can look at in 60 years and be able to say 'we did well".
Now, since I was born and raised in the States, my ideal partner should have the same or a similar upbringing- meaning you were born and raised in the US or Canada (pretty similar). So if you need a visa, see ya! I strongly believe two people with completely different upbringings are not a good match, so I'm really against marrying someone who wasn't brought up the way I was, ie. in the USofA or Ohhh, Canadaaa. Also, idk how to say this without sounding super rude, so I'm sorry in advance and I hope you don't think I'm a mean person for saying this, bc wallah im not :/ I plan on spending most, if not all, of my life in California or in the States, so my children's father needs to know how to communicate in English bc aint nobody got time for thatttt. So I guess what I'm trying to say (by beating around the bush) is if you sound like an Indian telemarketer when you speak English, sorry, but I'm not interested.Im not looking for a hafiz type guy either, bc Im an average Muslim. I abide by the Islamic dress code, I fully participate in Ramadan, and I have complete respect for elders, my religion, and my roots. I've completed the Quran once and try to read some whenever I can. I don't wear revealing clothes and I don't wear hijab. I don't drink, smoke or do hookah, and I'm not interested in a guy that does any of that either- even if he claims it's occasionally. It's disgusting and definitely something I never want to get use to. But when it comes to eating only Halal, my weakness is fast food. I cant help it!! I know there are some guys and families out there that strictly eat halal, but thats not something I grew up on, so dont take offense. I dont eat pork or anything like that (tauba), but I will more than likely give in to buying my kids a happy meal or two..or twelve..haha. Im all about staying fit and eating healthy, but once in a while you gotta have a nice, fatty burger, oily fries and a cold Dr. Pepper. Followed by chai, of course hahaha.
Congratulationssss, you've reached the end!!! Lol If youre still awake, like what you read, and think I described you in a nut shell, let me know! Thank you for your time and for reading through all the "I want..I want..I want" haha inshallah we all find our other halves! =]
