“LOVE DOESN’T COST A THING”…I guess it’s a true quote, or else I wouldn’t be putting myself on this site trying to find my better half!
Anyway, Hi my names Betsy, born & raised in the city of “Brotherly Love” called Philadelphia also known as Philly.
More about me, I consider myself to be a pretty humble person. I guess you can say I value the more simple things in life. I have an Easy-going nature so I'm very easy to get along with & talk too, I can literally have a conversation about anything~ I’m not perfect so I am the last person to judge you!!
I love to laugh, so if you’re good at telling jokes I can use a good laugh! I tend to be very conservative if I don’t know you too well, but once you get to know me I'm pretty laid back & entertaining to be around! I can be amusing around friends & family, but serious when it comes to more important things in life. I like to set goals as well as challenge myself in everything I do because it allows me be a better person & have a positive outlook towards life. I was born and raised in US, but I haven't forgotten my roots- speak & read Malayalam pretty well.
I'm known to have a big heart when it comes to helping people. I tend to be the one who volunteers for a lot of community service, or even organizing big/ small events for friends and family (I enjoy doing event planning). I consider myself to be highly confident, & dependable (I give 101% with everything I put my mind to) yet nurturing at the same time (I love children and dogs- they keep me entertained & feeling young). I'm a huge fan of all types of music which goes hand in hand with dancing. If it’s a beat I can move to, I will be somewhere on the dance floor for sure!!
In my leisure time, I enjoy going to the gym (nothing like blowing some steam & taking care of your health), playing sports, catching a movie (Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, and English, international), shopping, going out to eat (fancy or local), reading a good book, cleaning, playing video games, taking long drives with the music blasting (my getaway therapy), gardening/ landscaping, traveling, going fishing with my dad, and working on mini projects or do-it-yourself projects. I also enjoy hanging out with my huge family (little/older cousins) especially at family gatherings! Athletic wise, I come from a pretty athletic family (male & female) so I enjoy playing as well as watching all kinds of sports, from Football, Basketball, Tennis, Baseball, Gymnastics, and the list goes on….
The lord and church also play an important role in my life. It's because of his guidance and love I am where I am today. Whenever I doubted him, my savior has saved me countless times- which makes me a strong believer. I'm an active member in my church and the youth group- & they are literally like family!! I’m sorry to say it, but I'm the Queen of fashion! If you ask anyone I know, they will also tell you the same thing. I'm usually coordinated from head to toe & I'm good at doing it w/o breaking the bank! From Indian wear/ American- usually in line with fashion! I don’t smoke, so I expect my partner to be a non-smoker. I'm not a huge fan of drinking myself, but I don’t mind being with company who drink, and occasionally will have a drink or two for casual drinking.
Enough about me- Who am I looking for you ask? Two demands- You have to be a MALAYALEE & CHRISTIAN. I am really looking for someone to join me in the next chapter of my life called “marriage”. I’m looking for a guy whose honest, caring, in shape, confident, can be independent, passionate about life, & can be humorous.
He has to be able to understand me & my family, be a good listener, as well as challenge/ motivate me when I need that extra push. I’m looking for someone who’s willing to be by my side through the good times & bad…
