I have completed BScN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) and currently work as an ICU RN (Registered Nurse) in Toronto. I absolutely love what I do and love the satisfactory feeling that my work brings to me. The feeling of working hard & of being given a chance each day to make a difference in someone's life, in their times of dire need, is indescribable. I do plan on continuing my studies and aim to become a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner (Masters Program). I will be applying for the program soon and hope to start Graduate studies by September 2013.
I have been in Canada for past 11 years and finished my high school and undergrad degree here. As much as I respect and like Canada for what it has given to me I also hold my own birth country, India, very close to my heart. I do hope to contribute towards the betterment and progress of my birth country. Besides, my parents after having spent few years in Canada have moved back to India and currently reside in Surat. Dad is retired and mom is a house wife. My elder brother and I live together and are very close to each other.
I do not look for a life that everybody wants to live. I do not fancy the idea of being a typical wife or a daughter-in-law. I wish to stand by the quote "Run your own race".
I enjoy music and watching movies, a whole lot of movies! I have recently discovered that I also enjoy reading, non-fictional and fictional books with some elements of facts in it. I have garnered new interest in photography as well and I am enjoying that too.
I look not only for a good person but also for a great family to marry into. I admire a family that knows to dine together and to share a hearty laugh or a painful tear in trying times.
I believe the above info to be enough for now. I wait for a partner to join me in the odyssey of life.
