    • Hi ! I am a simple, easy going girl who likes to take life as it comes but also makes some plans here and there. I am doing Phd in Chemical engineering and expect to graduate in 2014. So go ahead and label me as a "geek chick" or a "nerd"..lol..I have been here in US since 2008 and also have a masters in chemical engineering.

      Just like every other phd student, my future plans/long term goals juggle between having a career in industry and academia. As of now I am more inclined towards industry, but still open to the idea of academia.

      I am not judgemental and open to different opinions and way of living life. I have a diverse group of friends from different cultures and nationalities, which has given me a more liberal mindset. I tend to be both indoorsy and outdoorsy. I like reading, hanging out with friends, watching movies, swimming, playing table tennis, badminton.

      I am looking for an open minded guy who likes to enjoy life and has some goals in life. I might be asking for too much, but I am not looking for a boring married life tied by unreasonable expectations. It is a big responsibility, but it can be easier if the partners let each other be themselves and have a good time.

      My father is a chemical engineer, working as Chief technology and sustainability officer at Tata Chemicals. My mother has done B. Sc in Chemistry and was a science teacher in primary school. Now, she is a wonderful homemaker. They live in ahmedabad currently. They have a wonderful marriage and that's where my high standards for marriage comes from. They are very broad minded and respect my decisions. We are a close knit and loving family. We are honest and open with each other.
