I have been in the states since 2001 and have been living in Maryland for past 10-11 years. I have a bachelors degree in Biology, and I work in a R&D lab. The thing I like the most about my job is that I get to work on variety of projects which always keeps things interesting and fun.
I'm the kind of person who likes to make people laugh. I'm outgoing, caring, fun loving, hard-working and a determined girl. I value qualities such as perseverance, hard work and determination. I like to watch movies, shows, sports (pretty much anything worthwhile), read, listen to music, shop, and hang out with friends and family. I have just recently got into watching football and I absolutely love it. I'm such a huge Ravens fan. I also want to start watching more baseball, basketball, soccer, hockey and as other intriguing sports. The type of movies I like are action, comedy, sci-fi, to name a few. I love reading, and am currently reading " A Clash of Kings" which is the second book from the series Ice and Fire (A Game of Thrones- a TV series). I'm also a foodie lol and love trying out different kinds of foods. I also like to try out new things-- I'm always up for an adventure and would love to go sky diving, bungee jumping or anything that will be fun and would get me going (all of these are definitely on my bucket list). One of my dreams is to travel a lot because I love to learn about different kinds of people and different cultures. Leaning new languages is a forte of mine; I pick up languages pretty quickly. I can still fluently read, write and speak Gujarati and Hindi. I also love to sing and I was in the high school chorus and in an Indian accapella group in college.
I am a family-oriented person and my family means the world to me. I'm the oldest of three; I have a younger brother and sister. Most of my immediate relatives live in the PA or in IL area.
