In a nut shell, I am witty + entrepreneurial + educated (some what!).
I am a quantitative analyst (Asst. VP) working for a leading financial services firm in Chicago, USA. I have a Masters degree in Financial Engineering from Chicago, a B. Tech degree in Electronics from NIT Allahabad (MNR) and I am a certified Financial Risk Manager. I worked at TCS-Gurgaon for 2 years before moving to US to study on scholarship in 2008. I am also an active public speaker.
Our roots are from Gorakhpur, U. P. but we have lived across India. I spent my early years at Kullu/Manali and then a lot more years at Port Blair (A&N Islands). Ours is a Well educated and closely knit family. My father is a well known research scientist in ICAR who has served as Director of several research institutes across the country. My mother is a gentle and caring homemaker with good family values and great cooking skills! My brother is an IIT educated engineer, married and currently settled in San Francisco, USA (working at Google). My sister is an Electronics engineer, also married and settled in San Diego, USA (working at Qualcomm). My parents are currently based in Bareilly, U.P., and planning to settle down in Lucknow.
Its more important to me that our families get along well, which I consider to be a great insurance policy for future happiness!
