    • ASSALAWALEKUM,,,, AAPKO MERI TARAF SE MUBARAKBAAD MAY ALLAH GIVES YOU PLEASURE IN LIFE AND PROSPERITY AND LOVE It was here that I finished my Bachelor's in Mathematical Economics with a minor in Business, and just finished my Master's in Public Health - Health Services Management recently. I am currently job hunting with hopes of relocating for a position in my field, and managing & operating a small personal bakery business on the side.

      I consider myself to be a very down to earth, patient, and laid back kind of person that works hard but also likes to have fun. I absolutely love to laugh and am young at heart. It's what gets me through the day (and awkward situations haha). It's okay to be serious when you need to be, but a good laugh just warms the heart.

      I am very family oriented --- my family and friends mean the world to me and I consider myself truly blessed. They are a big part of my life, and make me who I am today.

      Everyone always talks about having that right "balance", and I'd have to say that I work hard on maintaining that with all aspects of my life. I think you learn a lot about yourself through this process whether it be religiously, culturally, or the everyday norm. Islam is a very important part of my life. I am moderately religious, but continuously strive to become better. The same applies when it comes to traditions... I've neither abandoned my Bengali roots or completely adapted to all things American, but I do maintain a good balance of my Eastern and Western cultures and influences.

      I enjoy being active --- I love tennis and pretty much all other sports, both playing and watching. I love trying new things and being spontaneous. I absolutely love to travel, and patiently awaiting the days I can do more of this. I love cooking, and more specifically baking is one of my passions because it lets me be creative. Drawing, crafts, and photography are all things I enjoy doing. Art is general, is an outlet for me. I like to be involved in community functions and events, both planning and participating. I like watching movies, hiking, belting out random songs, playing games although I prefer the old school Nintendo variety haha, laughing, and really just about anything. I'm a person that looks at the glass as being half-full and believe in making the best out of any situation.

      As for what I look for in a partner... this part will probably sound so cliche. Almost every girl is out there looking for their perfect Prince Charming, right? I hope to find someone who I would be compatible with. I'm looking for a person that's willing to be my best friend and partner in crime. In general, a nice, smart, and dependable guy that can make me laugh (sense of humor is a must!!). It's always a plus when we have things in common, but it's not always necessary. Ideally, I'm looking for someone who is fun loving and genuine, who has strong family values and is moderately religious, as I am.
