My daughter (Kamakshi Singh) is a well cultured girl with high ambition for personal and professional life. She spent her early childhood days in Pilani, and completed her 10th grade from IIT Mumbai KV. After her 10th grade, I shifted to Auckland, and she completed rest of her schooling in the best girls school in Auckland. She is currently pursing double bachelors with majors in Psychology, Economics and Statistics. She intends to pursue higher education, if supported by her future family. At the moment, she is considering pursuing a masters in clinical psychology and a career as a psychologist, or a Ph. D. in management and a career as a business school professor. She is currently doing an internship in the USA.
She is highly educated and ambitious, and yet a very down-to-earth girl, highly conscious of the importance of family. She will be a true blessing to the family to which she belongs after marriage.
Ours is a highly educated family. Kamakshi has a younger brother who is also pursuing his undergraduate education in Auckland at the moment.
I am a Professor of Marketing at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. Previously, I was a Professor at IIT Mumbai and SP Jain, Mumbai. My wife is a home maker by choice. I have a younger brother and a younger sister. My brother (girl's uncle) is a Professor of Strategic Management at Rutgers Business Schools, New Jersey, USA. His wife (girl's aunt) is also a Professor of International Business Temple University, Philadelphia. My sister is a school teacher, my mother is a school principal and my father has retired as a school principal. My parents and sister live in Lucknow (Vikas Nagar).
Kamakshi is the eldest of all her cousins (3 boys 3 girls), and a role model for all of them.
