Sarath is a Computer Engineering graduate from Hyderabad. After completing his Engineering Sarath went to the US in the year 2001. He has been working in the US for the last 6 years. He is currently working for a Fortune 500 company in Florida on a permanent basis.

Sarath is the second child of a family of three boys. His father is a retired School Principal and mother is working as a B. Ed. , college lecturer. Both his brothers are also working in the US.
