I think there are two ways of writing about oneself. One is to describe those attributes that others would associate with you. The other is to talk about those characteristics that you most associate with or most like about yourself. Of course the two can also overlap. But I plan to go about this the latter way.

I like to think of myself as an honest and friendly individual, with a reflective bent of mind and a good sense of humour. Of course as a doctoral student in law, I need to reflect upon the stuff that I read and a sense of humour to keep me breathing as I wade through oceans of obscure and abstract philosophy.

I am passionately fond of literature and poetry, but find myself reading very little of that these days given time constraints. I am also fond of movies and the theatre (a taste I indulged in extensively during my stint in New York). In my limited free time these days, I like hanging out with friends. I also like outdoor activities although I haven't had much opportunity to undertake many in my life. Oh and I love to sing... or rather I burst into song quite frequently without there being much thought behind it.

I am looking for an honest, caring and confident man with a sense of humour and varied interests. Someone who is comfortable in his own skin and yet is not full of his own self importance, is willing to take risks but is not foolhardy, is a normal guy and yet has that special something which is indescribable...
