Hiya, thanks for checking my profile and pics out.
Just moved back to NZ after living in Sydney for the past year or so. Currently living with my parents after selling my house to travel overseas. I have a lovely german shepherd whom I adore. I love all animals, and would hope my future partner would also. I've got to the age where I am ready to settle down and start a family with my best friend. I love kids, get on well with people of all ages, toddlers to the oldies. Im into most sports, play indoor soccer and cricket and do Tae Kwon Do ( a martial art )I enjoy going out on friends' boats and going deep sea fishing. Nothing like the smell of the ocean and being miles away from land on a beautiful day. I believe we arent here for long so lets make the most of the time we have here. Ive done the whole partying /clubbing thing, and am kinda over it. I would far rather spend a quiet night at home watching DVD's with my partner ( find it difficult to say wife at this early stage, as I havent even met you in person yet!).
I know how to treat a woman like she is a princess. I believe a marriage is all about give and take, and Im more a giver than a reciever if you know what I mean:}
I hardly ever get upset or grumpy - life's too short for that. If I'm upset I'll tell you in a calm rational manner why. I believe open honest communication is essential for a happy relationship. I want to walk down the street holding your hand feeling so proud and happy to be with you. I am a sensitive, caring and compassionate guy but Im no wuss. I am a student of the ancient martial art Tae Kwon Do. Im not into violence or anything, however if the situation called for it I can and have handled the situation. First and foremost I want a best friend. Sure looks are mildly important, but looks fade anyway. I will only ever give the best to my wife and fully support her in whatever choices she makes. I hope you have dreams and aspirations of your own though as I am pretty driven and amibitious. I have an I. T background. I studied at IBM in Bangalore when I was 20. I moved over there by myself to study. The I. T industry wasnt really what I enjoyed though. I work as an international freight consultant for a NASDAQ listed company. We have 450 office w/wide so I have plenty of opportunity to travel should I wish. I mainly consult large importers and exporters on their logistics and supply chain processes and operating procedures. Sounds boring, but its a really varied interesting job. I enjoy not being stuck in an office all day and having the freedom to be in and out of the office as I please. Im looking for a girl who doesnt get grumpy all the time, isnt a high maintenence type of girl, someone who would like sitting on a hammock reading a book with me, listening to our ipod. Basically someone who would be content just enjoying each others company without having to constantly be on the go. I enjoying going out and doing activities but sometimes on fine days I just like to sit in the sun with some mojito's and read a good book. Some random stuff about me. I like passionfruit, helping strangers, giving to charity, believe in karma, only get grumpy about twice a year and usually thats after a bad sports result or incompetent drivers, love seafood, like a nice glass of red or white wine, am an excellent cook (Indian and NZ/Western), have an uncanny knack for remembering numbers, know heaps of useless facts, love to read in the sun, love looking at stars and clouds, i think about life quite a bit but am not that spiritual -im just one of the boys, i only dance after a few drinks -am too shy otherwise, im confident but can be shy around pretty girls, i will tell you you are beautiful even when you are sick, i dont need much sleep but love lazy sunday sleepins on cold days, love seafood, am allergic to bees, im lefthanded, have 2 friends who are international cricketers, love the rain. All my family live in NZ scattered around the country for work etc.
I get on really well with my parents and younger brother. Brother is doing honours at uni and may go on a scholarship to the States next year. My parents are VERY liberal. They dont expect you to cook and clean haha. If anything they'll make me do it. I believe in give and take in a relationship, and that includes me helping with you cooking, household chores etc. I think guys were put on this earth to take creepy crawlies and the rubbish outside and thats exactly what ill do. I dont know many girls that like spiders. Im not a big fan of them, they give me chills down my back, but hey a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do.
