I feel like I'm launching into selling "brand Niyati" :) but anyway, here goes: I think I'm crazy, funny, cute and intelligent. I'm also complicated, intense, deep and demanding. It'll take a really special guy to get my attention beyond the basics (looks, education, profession etc. ). Am checking out this portal coz I'm stuck in State college with a bunch of undergrads or grad students under 23 and can't seem to meet any eligible men here, esp coz im so busy with school right now that I have no time to really involve myself in activities where I'd potentially meet someone new.

A lil bit abt me-I was born in India but grew up in Dubai. At age 10 or so we moved back to India- to Delhi and that's where I did my undergrad (St. Stephen's) and MBA after which I moved here to get my PhD.

I'm a very liberal and honest person- and trust me - when it comes to me those aren't random adjectives. I'm a big fan of fun new experiences. Wanna do as much adventure sports kinda stuff that I can (skydiving et al- u et the drift). I intend to travel and explore the world as and when I can. Don't believe in mooching off a guy so will be a successful Business Professor (earning 100+ grand a year in a couple of years when I graduate). But I also don't respect men unless they are equal to me or surpass me (in intellect, maturity, success etc. -demanding huh? :)). I think I'm very loving, giving and sweet to people I care about. I'm a very loyal person- both in friendships and relationships (must be the Taurean in me). I'm extremely outgoing/fun loving and have been described as very well spoken. Although I've devoured books from Jane Austen to Ayn Rand- I won't really claim to be very well read. I absolutely Love dancing and am particularly into salsa nowadays. I'm also a total movie and music buff with very varied taste- in fact at one point in my life I was training to be a Radio Jockey. I'm currently getting my Doctorate degree in Management (Organizational Behavior) at Penn State and will be in State college for a couple of years or so, and unfortunately the one thing I've discovered is its hard to find eligible guys in this tiny university town.... so if you think you are above average intelligent, liberal, decent looking, interesting/fun loving, in the area or close enough to state college contact me. We'll get a coffee/drink or something together and see how it goes.

liberal and multi cultural. Dad's a Punjabi Hindu (actually his mom's a sikh his dad was Hindu/arya samaji) and mom is Roman Catholic. I got introduced to Buddhism a couple of years ago and it fits well how I see spirituality and hence I call myself primarily Buddhist. My parents had a love marriage in the 70s (pretty bold people). Dad's pretty conservative still and has worked mosto f his life all across the Middle east, mom's very liberal and my favorite person in the world. :) I have an elder brother who's also done grad studies here in the States and is now working in Seattle (not Microsoft- he hates Microsoft :) )
